Backstage with Aalia
Before we smuggled her away from Hoxton Hall, I spoke to Aalia Nazim.
Bits of that conversation have made it into Fluffy’s latest catch-up.
She was understandably shaken to be trailed to the gig. Initially she thought that it was us who’d been followed rather than her, and she might be right about that. But once we were there it was clear who was the focus of unwanted attention.
At least we’re confident that nobody knows where she’s staying and that she got home without being tracked.
For me, the big revelation of the night was hearing that Prometha is in bad shape financially. The credit crunch has apparently dried up hope of speculative investment by venture capitalists. They’re relying on MAL to salvage the share price. Though you wouldn’t know it to talk to the CEO.
