At the gig
LOTS to talk about after the weekend just passed.
I’ve got tons of footage from Katherine Ryan’s comedy gig, and so’s Fluffy, and we’ll try to pull it together and post it as soon as possible. But in the meantime, Tom Boxall has posted this film clip to Facebook.
We went there to try to find Aalia and she showed up, which was great. Not so great was that a couple of other people seemed interested in her too. Things nearly got nasty; we were grateful to have so many helpful friends in the crowd, otherwise it could have gone badly wrong.

Hi Matt,
Have you let Aalia’s parents know she is safe because I’m sure they’d be really glad to hear you spoke to her and that she was ok.
Hope you and Rachel are ok after the whole dead person thing. Seeing a dead body is always a bit of a shock. I suppose it must be much worse if you aren’t expecting it..

@ Claire - that’s a really good idea. I’ll give them a call later on today, though I’m sure it’ll mean a deluge of questions from them. I’ll have to think quite carefully about how to phrase what I tell them.
